Interview Interview Interview

Im bored of the whole interview routine already. After the last one three weeks ago, I told myself I need a break from the job hunting game. Hmm.. so much for a break, Im going for another one tomorrow. I shouldnt complaint though. I should be thankful for getting all these opportunities. Some people are still waiting for it to come.

After all why should I complaint? I have all the reason to find a better job!

Pursuit Of Berat Badan Unggul

Due to health and fitness reason, I am now trying to lose weight.

Current Weight : 88 KG
Target Weight : 72 KG
Target Duration : 3 months staring from 21st May 2007

So plus minus, by 1st September I'll have a leaner body, better liver, and a longer dick. Yeah... need to get myself motivated in that way too.

So what's my gameplan? Today I'll reveal my "pantang" list.

1) No ice. According to Malays, ice will make you "buncit". Eventhough there are studies that says ice is good since the body will have to burn more calories to regulate the body temperature. But I am a Malay. So no ice for me in the next three months.

2) No coffee. Coffee is supposed to increase our metabolic rate. That is good. Higher metabolic rate means the food that we consume is burned faster. But Malays say that coffee will cause "angin". "Angin" is no good, it'll make you sick. So coffee is in my "pantang" list. My days will be filled with "air suam", milo and tea. Actually tea is "angin" too but not as bad as coffee. Since ancient Chinese live healthy-ly with their green tea, ginseng tea and chinese tea, i think tea no that that bad.

3) No seafood. Everybody knows about this. Cholesterol! Not good for my liver. Damn I'm gonna miss the "sotong apollo" at Kari Kepala Ikan Lucky Garden.

4) No internal organs. Same reason with number 3. So basically my diet would revolve around fish, chicken, meat and thats it...

5) No sex. Haaa... this is the critical "pantang". Last time I felt so healthy was the one month period before my wedding. So to regain the momentum of the fitness, I'll say no to sex for three months!! Haha... yeah right!!!

Holiday Trip With Nenek

Wifey and I took 2 days off to get a whole 7 days stretch of leave and we didn't plan to do anything or go anywhere during that period. As the 1st day went by, we decided to go to Terengganu and Kelantan. This time, we wanted to take Wifey's family along but only her mum was available for that last minute planned vacation. Hence the title for Arianna.

We took off on Saturday morning. Arrived Permai Inn Kuala Terengganu at 4pm on the dot. We stopped at Kedai Kopi Hai Peng at Kemaman for lunch. None of us had the coffee. The place was so crowded, with smokers all around. So we quickly had some snacks, fed Arianna and took off.
As we arrive Kuala Terengganu, I was hungry as usual. My main objective for this trip is to enjoy good food. The first place we went was Teluk Ketapang Celup Tepung. Everything was fried with flour batter here. Mackarel fish, stingrays, squids, crabs, banana, keropok lekor and etc. For drinks... it must be coconut juice. Haha...

At Teluk Ketapang.

Me with my official national football jersey.

The next morning, after breakfast at the hotel we went to Hutan Lipur Sekayu. I grew up in Terengganu. Last time Sekayu was very famous for its waterfall, camp sites, jungle tracks and etc. I was a bit disappointed to see the way it turned out to be after about 15 years from my last visit. The place looked like it is abandoned, rubbish all over the place. But it didn't stop my family from enjoying the "mandi sungai". It was the first time for Arianna. She was very excited to go in, but as she dipped her legs into the ice cold water, she cant take the chill.

After the "mandi sungai" we went back to the hotel to get changed. For lunch we went to Al Hijrah restaurant at Bukit Bayas. The speciality of the restaurant was the "sup herba" and "ayam berempah with black pepper sauce". All the guys dining at that restaurant will get a complimentary pure tongkat ali drink. Its just a small cup lah...

After lunch, we went to Pasar Payang. I was appointed as the official Arianna babysitter since then, while Ibu and Nenek do their thing.

After Pasar Payang, we went to Batu Burok Beach.

On Monday, we went to Kota Bharu. There's no pictures for this day as the ladies were busy shopping, shopping and shopping. And again I had all the precious bonding moments with Arianna. For lunch, I took them to Nasi Ulam Cikgu at Pusat Kraftangan. Last time I had lunch there, I enjoyed it so much that I took my family for a try. Somehow they didn't enjoy it as much as I did. Hmm... maybe I should have taken them to the Nasi Sup restaurant instead.
The Kota Bharu trip was a day trip. we took of at about 8.30am and we reached back to Permai Inn at about 8pm. Had to have room service for dinner that night. Gila pancit oii!

Tuesday was our last day there. In the morning, I made arrangement with Uncle Basir to have breakfast at Mak Ngah's Nasi Dagang strongest competitor; Restoran Alias. These two restaurants are separated by a mosque. If you are from Kuala Terengganu, head for Chendering/Kuantan. After you pass the floating mosque, slow down. You will see a full house restaurant on your left. That is Nasi Dagang Mak Ngah. The famous restaurant that charges rm45 for the fish head. A few meters from there, there's a mosque yellow in colour. A few meters from the is restoran Alias. According to Uncle Basir, Alias's nasi dagang taste better. After all the current Agong orders his nasi dagang from this retaurant to be sent to KL every week.

Here are some of the pictures at the floating mosque. This is where I thought we were supposed to meet.

The last picture is a picture of my mother in law carrying Eewa's son.

Damn Im so tired till today....
